White cabinetry, a gray island and black accents
This Enola kitchen originally paired wood cabinets and beige countertops with a patterned tile backsplash, a stainless sink and a black over-the-range microwave. The finished kitchen combines white cabinetry with a gray island, light veined countertops and a white herringbone backsplash. A black apron-front sink, black cabinet pulls and a black vent hood contrast with the lighter surfaces.

Before
Before the remodel
These four before photos show the original kitchen from the cooking area, sink wall and adjoining dining space. Wood cabinets surrounded the black appliances, and the island had a broad countertop overhang with stools alongside it. The sliding glass door and sink window appear in both the before and finished views.

Storage and details throughout the finished kitchen
The gray island brings together drawers, an open wine rack and a shelf for cookbooks beneath a light countertop with gray veining. Around the room, white cabinets have black bar pulls, and the herringbone tile continues behind the sink and range. An open-frame pendant hangs above the island, while a glass pendant sits in front of the sink window. Floating corner shelves add an open display area beside the wall cabinets. The eight finished photos include wide room views and close-ups of the island countertop and apron-front sink.
